However, if you don’t actually expand the size of your bucket (your nervous system’s capacity) then the second life throws you a curveball (you get sick, you launch, you hit a family crisis), the bucket overflows again.

When that happens, you’re exhausted by 2 p.m., get sick during launches, and you start questioning your entire business model.

Here’s the part no one tells you: Your body isn’t broken. It’s built to self-heal. But it can only do that in the right state. Within the ventral vagal state of the parasympathetic nervous system.

When you know how to put yourself back into this state on demand, a few things happen:

• Your body heals itself (fast).
• Your energy comes back online.
• You naturally take the actions you’ve been avoiding.
• You raise your prices, set boundaries, and show up with confidence without worrying about being “too much”.

This is the superpower most practitioners are missing.

Why Most Stress Management Doesn’t Work

Here’s the problem: stress management is a band-aid. It lowers the waterline in your bucket but doesn’t make the bucket bigger.
